COVID-19 poses a significant threat to our patients, staff and community. As a medical facility, we see 'high-risk' patients regularly and we feel that it is our duty to protect our most vulnerable patients, and our whanau and community as a whole.
In order to do this, when you phone us to make an appointment, you will be offered the option of a video or phone consultation in preference to a face-to-face appointment. If this is not a suitable option, either a doctor or nurse will call you to assess your need to be seen face to face.
During the triage process, you will be asked to declare if you have had any of the following symptoms - cough, runny nose, sore throat, New or worsening: Cough? Breathlessness? Sneezing and runny nose? New loss or altered sense of smell/taste? Sore throat? Do you have a fever?
Saying yes to any of these symptoms will not stop you from seeing a doctor.
Please be understanding of this process, and we welcome your feedback as we do our best to navigate our way through this new landscape.

We have teamed up with an external provider Practice Plus, offering after hours virtual GP consultations via video and telephone.
Weekdays: 5pm to 10pm, and Weekends & Public Holidays: 8am to 8pm
